Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
During this second half of the year I am encouraging you to stay strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. 1 Peter 1:5 tells us that we are ‘kept by the power of God through faith’. It is extremely important for us to keep the faith.
I am advising caution for this 4th of July celebration. Please enjoy the 4th, but never forget about the celebration of our Lord and Savior. Recall, He died for our sins and arose again on the third day; that is why we celebrate each and every Sunday morning!
One of the secondary definitions of the Greek word for fellowship is “significantly sharing in, partaking of”. Here at the Fellowship Baptist Church, Inc. we are striving to share the gospel of Jesus Christ by exalting His name each time we meet, evangelizing our community, educating our members about Him, and edifying those around us.  Our desire is that everyone have an opportunity to ‘significantly share’ in the abundant blessings He has to offer. We enlist everyone’s support to assist us in accomplishing this momentous task.
As we persevere in these hot and difficult days always be reminded that God’s love perfects us. It renders us complete, lacking nothing. God has provided every resource needed for you to gain the victory over every circumstance in your life.  Lift up your head, lift up your head and the King of Glory shall come in.
Take a moment each day to give thanks to Jesus Christ for what He has done and continues to do for us and through us.
With the love of our Lord and Savior
Pastor Marvin Tigner
